Sommerkonzert
The Symphonisches Orchester Christi Himmelfahrt (Symphonic Orchestra of the Ascension) is part of the parish of Christi Himmelfahrt (Ascension) in Munich-Waldtrudering. The orchestra was founded in 2005 and has since cultivated a diverse repertoire, beginning with sacred music of the baroque and classical era, and extending all the way to famous waltzes and “Schlager”.
The programme includes:

– Franz Schubert: Ouverture to “Rosamunde”
– Edvard Grieg: Peer Gynt Suite
– Edvard Grieg: Solveig's Song
– Peter Tchaikovsky: March & Trépak from “The Nutcracker”
– Ottorino Respighi: Ancient Airs and Dances
– Johannes Brahms: Hungarian Dance Nr. 5
The advance sale is over. You can come to the box office and still ask for tickets there. The box office is open from one hour before the start of the event.
