Bewie Bauer is on the home stretch to his 50th birthday. And he starts to wonder: What have I achieved? What do I still want to experience and why is one never too old for rebellious rock? His life actually started out so well, back in the 80s, when he grew up with five older brothers in the middle of Upper Bavaria. And it got even better - as a teenager with his first electric guitar in his hand in the 90s with Nirvana, Nintendo and Diddl Mouse. And now? Are Viagra and Granufink already in sight? Just thinking about it gives Bewie the first grey hairs. And yet he has the feeling that he has finally arrived: somewhere between "Clearasil" and "almost senile".
In his second solo programme, Bewie Bauer also breaks the boundaries between stand-up comedy, parody and musical cabaret. In his fast-paced crossover programme, it's one hit after another: rock songs to sing along to alternate with bizarre characters from his everyday Bavarian life. Of course, you can also see him in his parade role as Health Minister Karl Lauterbach. In the last few months, he has not only thrilled BR viewers on Günter Grünwald, but has also landed viral hits on TikTok and Youtube.
